WARNING COMICS PIMPING AHEAD
Earlier this year my CCS comrades Luke Healy, Juan Fernandez and Simon Reinhardt put together a gorgeous silk-screen printed curated box set wonderland of mini-comics called Dog City.
The first edition featured an ink wash mini-comic of mine: ‘The Starship Boobyprize‘ – which you can buy in physical form from my shop or as a part of the Dog City #1 PDF package.
‘The Starship Boobyprize’ is a kind of true story about the time my Dad built a spaceship in the backyard out of plywood – if you like original Star Trek you will love this comic.
The second edition Dog City #2 debuted at SPX over the weekend and, if you’re living in the United States, is well worth the postage price (apparently as a giant box of nine mini-comics it’s kind of not cost effective to post it across the planet).
In the Dog City #2 magazine you’ll find an interview I did with fellow Tasmanian and Ignatz award nominee Simon Hanselmann of Megg, Mogg and Owl fame.
If you’re a Truth Zone or Megg, Mogg and Owl fan OR just want to know what it’s like to grow up on an island at the bottom of the world in the 1990s – THIS ARTICLE IS FOR YOU. Just you. No one else.
Buy it.
Note: Dog City #2 will be available at MICE in Boston on September 28-29.
